CONFIRMED ARRANGEMENTS: FRIENDS OF KISIIZI DAY 2007 WILL BE HELD IN GREYFRIARS CHURCH IN READING ON SATURDAY 6th OCTOBER.

We do hope you will be able to join us for a day of Thanksgiving for what God has done and prayer for the future plans and challenges.
The day will commence at 10.15am with Coffee then formal session starts at 10.45am. We will close the day around 4.30pm. all times are subject to a lot of factors! You don't have to book and can just turn up with a packed lunch [but it is helpful if you can send us an email to say you are planning to come].
WE WILL SEE VIDEO FEEDBACK TO UPDATE US ON THE CURRENT SITUATION IN KISIIZI.
There will be discussion about the Golden Jubilee next summer in Kisiizi.
UNFORTUNATELY DR TONNY IS UNABLE TO JOIN US THIS YEAR AS HE IS NEEDED TO SUPPORT THE MEDICAL TEAM WHICH HAVE BEEN RATHER STRETCHED RECENTLY. HOWEVER WE HOPE TO BE ABLE TO SKYPE / PHONE KISIIZI FOR A LIVE LINK ON FRIENDS DAY.

Dr Tonny Tumwesigye, Medical Superintendent, and his wife Denise,also a doctor who is now on the Kisiizi medical team
Dr Francis Banya, Consultant Obstetrician and his wife Jennipher, Sister in Kisiizi Out-patients
Adrian and Jane Shutt were guests in 2006. Jane is involved in the Sunday school and in helping with distribution of parcels and items from containers etc etc whilst Adrian is kept very busy as a specialist surgeon.

What a wonderful day of sharing, thanksgiving, challenge and encouragement! Once again we marvelled at the diversity of those who gathered - all ages, backgrounds, denominations yet sharing a concern and love for the people at Kisiizi. Some had been there at the very beginning of the hospital in 1958, others only last year, and some have never been but still faithfully support the ministry of Kisiizi.
